Why is it that we need special days to be nice to our fellow human beings?

Today is the start of non violence towards woman days, which is running for 16 days. We have decided woman only get 16 days of special treatment, so after the 16 days we can go back to beating and raping them. So woman all over South Africa rejoice in your 16 days, because you deserve it after the other 349 days of abuse.

Lets Face It, what the fuck is the world coming to when we have to set aside days to treat people the way they should be treated?

11 people escaped from cells at the Northam police cells. They were awaiting trial. Now I can see one man getting away, but how the hell did they not notice 11 people leaving the police station , where was their gaurd, How and with what did they cut their bars with,and why after a couple of hours was it only reported or noticed that they were missing. How the hell do you miss 11 people from a cell. Lets Face It, this had to be an inside job.

5 Year old mauled by lion

On Sunday a five year old girl was mauled by a lion. She has received reconstructive surgery to her face. She and her parents are obviously traumatized by this. Now why would any parent let their child, let alone a five year old go near a lion cage. Hello it is not your average garden cat.

What part of high school Biology did you not grasp about animals. This is a predator not a cuddly kitty. The sad thing is they will probably call for the destruction of the animal. Why is it when we make a mistake something else gets the blame. Lets Face It, Unless you have a lion tamers hat with a flashing lion tamer sign on it you are not qualified. The parents are to blame here not the lion. When at parks of this nature keep an eye on your children, they are your responsibility not any one else's.

No signs, forget how to drive?

Why is it in Joburg that the "Keep left, Pass right" signs are gone people have forgoten how to drive? People sit in the right lane doing 15km under the speed limit, and no, the white line in the middle are not pointing you to your destination. You dont have to ride on top of them. If you cant direct you car in a straight line without the help of the lines on the road, why the hell are you driving. The last time I checked the emergency lane was not a taxi lane. 90% of Joburgers need to lean how to drive again. Lets Face It: KEEP LEFT, PASS RIGHT, it's very simple concept.

In Public Intrest

This court case that is going on in Durban right now with Mr Shaik and Mr Zuma is apparently not in the public interest. How can they come to this conclusion? Is it not our taxes that have paid for the Arms deal? Maybe it's in our Governments best interest that this is not aired on national T.V.. Do they have more names of high ranking officials also caught up with this deal? Not in the publics best interest? I think not.

We have a right to know what is going on within our own country and the people we trust to lead us into the future. Zuma is being primed to be the next president, the very idea that he has been linked to corruption allegations should have him removed from politics all together, let alone hold the vice presidential seat.

In the publics interest they should insert cameras in these peoples homes. Now there's a reality T.V. show for the public. The Big Brother Corruption Game.
The politician who has taken the most bribes wins a mercedes unless one has already been given as a gift already, and the game host none other then Shabir Shaik himself. Lets Face It. You are taking our money: we have the right to know!

I upgraded my cell contract the other day, pretty exciting new phone all the fancy gadgets and thingy ma bobs. Anyway everything was been done through Cell Shack. They started out as a very pleasant company with all the help until it came to getting the phone off to me. I was told I would receive it on the Friday, well Friday came and went, so bright and early on Monday morning I called: There was a problem they had with some of the phones but I would get it on Wednesday. Hey no prob I understand there can be problems would have appreciated a call but Wednesday was great.

Wednesday came and went, guess what no phone. Again I call them to find out what has happened, no one can tell me but they are sorry. So now I am beginning to feel that now that the deal is signed it tough shit for me I must just wait. So they tell me Friday midday is when the phone will arrive. Friday 2pm I call them, the truck was delayed in traffic and is on its way to you should be there by 4pm. 5pm no truck I call again, this time I am told that there was no delivery scheduled to get to me, so some one lied to me blatantly. The manager says he will sort it out and I will have my phone by Wednesday. Not good enough.

Well it arrives on Wednesday, no sorry here is 50rand free minutes or 20rand gift voucher for having to put up with the crap. I call because there is an item missing. I speak to the manager again saying this is crap. I say to him that they could even be bothered with customer service or satisfaction he says to me that he went over and beyond to get my phone to me on that Wednesday, my felling is that is his job must I know thank him for sending me my phone I paid for, what is business coming to in this country when they think they are doing you a favour by dealing with them and not the other way round. When I spend my money I want the service as well as the product. A big Fuck you to cell shack for actually having to do your jobs. I won’t be working through you again and will tell everyone I meet the same. Lets Face It a product is shit with out the service to back it up.

Who the hell is to blame?

In it's infinite wisdom, our brilliant South African goverment, 10 years after the fact, are now blaming the very person, who set the former President free, for doing nothing about the AIDS epidemic in this country.

As we sit on the abyss of our own destruction it is easier to point fingers then actually come up with a solution. It's easier to point fingers, rather then take a cut in their salary then get the drugs needed to help rape victims or to make sure babies do not get the AIDS virus passed on by their mothers. Maybe its time to stop sitting on their comfy office chairs and do something about it.

Or should we take the lead from our Goverment and start pointing fingers? Maybe that will help the millions of HIV carriers in this country. Lets spend more money on our armed forces ( and I am a strong believer in the armed forces). But then again our goverment is probably not getting BMW's or Mercedes for giving out medication for the needy... With the stand the goverment is taking on AIDS (ignore it it will go away. It will, after all the aids carriers die) they are doing a great job in bringing down the population.

Maybe that's their plan. Kill two birds with one stone (pardon the pun)? Now in a couple of years, our unemployment rate is cut down by a lot. Hey, that's great news! Unemployment in South Africa almost non exscitent, so is our population. Lets Face It get of your ass and stop pointing fingers because it is already getting too late.
